Photo of the Day: Powerscourt Waterfall
Powerscourt Waterfall is a local landmark in Co. Wicklow, where I grew up. It's a beautiful park and forest area with a huge (relatively speaking) waterfall that falls down the side of a large cliff face. I took this photo along with many others several years ago on my old trusty first generation 5D but I was never really happy with the pictures. After the release of VSCO Film 4 yesterday, I was looking through my Library to find files to try the new presets on, and I came across this collection. I was blown away with the results. The pictures were so much better. Now, to be fair, it's not the preset that made them better per se, but the fact that I'd never really processed them properly in the first place. Anyway, I'll have a full post on the subject soon, but here's a sneak peak for now - This was processed using the Velvia preset along with a few further tweaksClick here to order a print or licence this image
