Band Stand in Stephen's Green
This is probably one of my most photographed subjects, but I never tire of it. It's a beautiful band stand on the Southern side of Stephen's Green in Dublin city centre. It's one of those things that is always changing with the seasons, the weather and the light. I don't know what it is about it that I like so much. I think it's the colour which blends so nicely with the surroundings, and the always changing flower arrangements that the park care takers put around the band stand. Some of my favourite shots are from Autumn when it really contrasts against the golden leaves, but this, taken over the weekend was at the height of summer, and the warmth of the summer sun works pretty well too.
