DXO labs have released an update to Pure Raw that brings their RAW pre-processing software to version 3.7. The latest version includes improved integration with Lightroom to better integrate the software into a Lightroom workflow.

DXO Releases Nik Collection 6.3
DXO labs today announced the release of the latest version of its popular Nik Collection software suite. While it might sound like a point release, it actually contains some significant updates and marks a milestone for the software.

I feel like this blog has turned into a long series of me apologising for not updating the blog. In some sense it’s almost become comedic, and if it wasn’t such a pain from my point of view I’d be laughing more (although I’m doing my best to try and see the funny side). DXO Pure Raw 2.1 released. Native Apple Silicon and Support for new Cameras
DXO labs have just released an update for DXO Pure Raw 2. Version 2.1 is now fully native on Apple silicon, and leverages Apple’s M1 and M2 processors. This release also adds support for the latest Canon Eos R series of cameras, and adds some improvements to the batch processing workflow.
Nik Collection 5 released
DXO Labs today announced the release of Nik Collection 5. The suite of Plug-ins contains major upgrades to ColorEfex and AnalogEfex which include a new user interface as well as anew grain tool and the companies clear view technology. The suite also now comes with DXO Photolab 5 Essential, bringing Raw editing and DXO’s renowned optics correction to the suite.
Capture One 22 Version 15.3 Released
Seems to be the day for updates! Not long after Adobe went live with the latest round of updates for the Lightroom and Photoshop ecosystem, Capture One has released the latest update for Capture One. Bringing the version number to 15.3 the latest update to Capture One 22 features several new features, a refined interface, and improved tethering.
Lightroom 11.4 Released - New Features: Mask Improvements, Preset Amount Slider and GPU Export Acceleration
Adobe has just announced its June photography updates, and this includes new versions of all versions of Lightroom as well as Photoshop and Camera Raw. In this article, I’m only going to be focusing on Lightroom Classic, which is now at version 11.4. This release actually has quite a few new and improved features for a point release, and I’ll outline the key new features in the post (and video) below.
DXO Photo Lab 5.2 Released - Important notes for Fuji and Apple Silicon Users
DXO quietly released the latest update to DXO Photo Lab sometime recently. I don’t know when exactly this was as there was no press release or anything and I wasn’t really paying that much attention to the software update notices, but it’s actually an important release for two reasons. It brings improvements to Fuji support and improves the way Fuji cameras are handled in an important way. It also makes us aware of a bug in the latest MacOS and offers a work around. Nik Collection 4.3 Update Released
DxO labs has just released the latest update to the Nik software collection. The latest release, version 4.3 features new presets to “enhances the character of landscape and travel photographs” according to the press release.
DXO Launches PhotoLab 5 with Beta Support for Fujifilm X-Trans
Today DXO labs launches the latest version of DXO PhotoLab and it contains several new and improved features. However the big one, and the one I never thought I would ever see, is that the software now supports FujiFilm X-Trans cameras. While this support is currently in beta, it finally brings the software to Fujifilm X-Series shooters.
Capture One 21 14.4 Update brings back Export Tool Tab
Capture One has just announced the latest upgrade to Capture One 21. Version 14.4 is available now, and the biggest feature is that it brings back support for the Export tool tab.

Capture One Update: Capture One 21 14.3 released with Magic Brush, New Export Interface and More
Capture One today announced the latest point release for Capture One 21 and it contains a couple of new features. The company has been on a roll of late, with each point release adding new functionality to the software. This release sees a new export interface added, a new “magic brush” for making quick selections, and a much requested change to the way catalogues handle sub-folders.
Nik Software Updated to 4.1.
DXO labs have put out a point update to the Nik Software Collection 4 that fixes some bugs, and improves performance. Unfortunately it still doesn’t solve the issues I have previously mentioned with Capture One.
Nik Collection 4 Released
DXO labs has just released an updated of the venerable Nik Collection, which includes a number of new features. The biggest updates within the “Nik Collection 4” bundle are Silver Efex and Viveza, both of which are significant updates with new interfaces and under the hood changes, including much more control over u-points.
Luminar updated with Apple Silicon Support, Improved Sky controls and more
Late last week, Skylum put out a new update for Luminar that, among other things brought a new set of controls and even more notably, support for Apple silicon Macs.
