Random Acts of Photography: Red Brick Edition
The weather in Dublin has been a little bit crazy of late. I had recently mentioned that the winter here is usually fairly settled and that there’s really good light. Well, someone must have heard me, because since then we’ve had nothing but rain and high winds. It’s not exactly ideal weather for taking photographs. Ok, I know there are those that will brave the storms for their art no matter what, but I’m just not that brave. But I digress…
Sunday turned out to be a nice day and a welcome break in the storm, so I grabbed my camera (well, one of them) and headed into the city for some street shootin’. I ended up spending a lot of time around the Georgian section of the city. I just love those red brick buildings. Also, the area is really quiet at the weekends as it’s mostly offices. I had my trusty Fujifilm XE–1 with me, and so I shot away. Here’s a random selection of red bricked photos for your monday enjoyment. Speaking of Mondays, it was back to the stormy weather this morning. This was the lovely sound that greeted me as I entered my studio earlier today!
