PSA: Capture One Offer - Buy Capture One 21 now, get Capture One 22 free in December

Starting today, until October 4th, Capture One is offering anyone who buys or upgrades to Capture One 21 a free upgrade to Capture One 22 in December. They have already announced that HDR and Panorama merging will be coming in Capture One 22 when it’s released in December, so if you’ve been on the fence about upgrading, now might be the time.

When Capture One 21 was launched last December, there was some feedback from some users that it didn’t have a lot of new features, but over the past year, they’ve pretty much added new tools in almost every intermediate release. By the way, this only applies to those interested in a perpetual licence. If you are already on a subscription you will get the upgrade anyway. The one thing I don’t quite get is why this deal is only until the 4th October.

I still don’t know why they only did this for a short time. I expect this will cause a lot of confusion and come back to bite Capture One in the rear, when loads of people realise in December that they weren’t eligible because they never saw the cut off date.
