New Video: How to do a Tilt Shift Miniature Effect in Lightroom With No Plug-ins
In this video I show you how you can use the new lens blur feature in Lightroom Classic 13 to create a faux tilt shift miniature effect in Lightroom. This technique allows you to create the effect without any plug-ins or having to go to Photoshop.
I realise that this effect is something that was popular ages ago, and isn’t really in-vogue any more, but it’s cool that you can now do it directly in Lightroom without having to go to Photoshop. While the new lens blur feature isn’t perfect, it seems to work well for this most of the time.
Note that this technique will also work in Photoshop Camera Raw and Lightroom Desktop/Cloud/whateveritscalled!
Some examples of this technique in action…
