Film Candy 2 for Lightroom
I've been busily working on the next instalment of Film Candy for Lightroom, and it's getting closer to a release. The sequel will be a bit more eclectic than the first version and contains a greater variety of looks. I have some strong special effects and some subtle film like looks included. I'm still doing some testing and putting some finishing touches on it, and I don't have a schedule yet for release, but in the mean time here is a sneak peek at some images treated using the new presets
Photo Journal, Streets of Dublin and More
Just a quick reminder of some of the other sites and projects that I currently have ongoing. I've a "Photo's Only" partner blog to this one, which tires to leave out all the gear and tech talk, and just focuses on photography. I post images there regularly. I've recently renamed it from the mouthful that was "Just Photography Blog" to the "Photo Journal" and you can find it here.
My streets of Dublin street and city scape photography project is still going strong. Some much so that I've taken on help with it, and my wife is now working on it too, managing the posting, and the social media side of things. Check out the project's website and facebook page. The project website be getting a revamp soon, and I'm going to be offering limited edition prints for some of the images.
Finally, I'm in the process of moving my portfolio and library from Photoshelter over to SmugMug. There are lots of reasons for this, and I'll have a full post about it soon, but for now, check out the collection. I've a section on it called the "Photo Stream" where I'm posting new images every day (or few days). It's a much more friendly design than Photoshelter, and the design puts the emphasis on the image. You can also buy prints from most of my images directly from the library.
